After the arrival of the Multiversal Monopoly BuyMort, life got brutal. All systems, all currency, all commerce ran through BuyMort — or you perished. Enter Tyson Dawes, a no-cares slacker with a crap job caretaking a campground in Arizona. He had a deal with the world: he didn't change it, and it didn't change him. BuyMort broke that deal the moment it unleashed alien entrepreneurs intent on selling everything not already tagged as private property. When a man has little, he cherishes it. When that little is lost, he'll do whatever it takes to get it back.

After pacifying the old Earth underground military base and defeating the Sleem, Tyson Dawes and Silken Sands are flush with new items and morties. But the Dearth Conglomerate has been circling over Arizona, and they want his land.
