Discount Dan's Backroom Bargains

Dan has accidentally 'noclipped' into the Backrooms — a bizarro extra-dimensional world cobbled together from twisted carnivals, abandoned shopping malls, janky laundromats, and condemned insane asylums, overrun with horrific nightmare creatures known as the Dwellers. No one ever gets out. If Dan wants to survive the week, he's going to need to harness the strange game-like magic of the Backrooms, make some very sketchy allies, and carve out a little safe haven to call his own — and fast, because the Flayed Monarch of the 999th floor has marked him for death.

With the shadow of the Flayed Monarch looming ever closer, Dan must prepare himself and his store for the battle to come. To stand a chance, he'll need to expand his operations, broker a precarious trade deal with the Delvers of Howlers Hold, and transform his stash of relics into an arsenal. First, though, he'll need to carve a bloody path through the 24th floor — Eternal Suburbia — a hellish labyrinth of tidy lawns, cookie-cutter houses, and homicidal homeowners. Few survive the lawnmower men, the feral Karens, the ever-ravenous Kannibal Kids, or the tyrannical HOA that reigns supreme with an iron fist.

The Flayed Monarch is on the move, spreading corrupt influence through the lower levels of the Backrooms. To stop him, Dan and his crew must take out one of the Monarch's key allies — the Franchisor, a multi-headed marketing monstrosity who rules the 99th Floor. To secure the Kiosk Network and strike a crippling blow against the Monarch, they'll have to grind through a cursed snow globe, survive the twisted horrors of the 10,000 Acre Wood, and take on a twisted empire built on questionably legal intellectual property. Along the way, Dan will uncover long-buried secrets about his past, the System, and a war he never asked for.
