Grant Leap is an orphaned mortal farmhand in a world where cultivation and Weapons of Power are jealously guarded. When a celestial event pours time magic into his field and forms a lost Weapon of Power, he gains a Sword and a Name — along with a mandatory quest with his life as the price of failure. The blade offers him one choice: surrender to his desires, or live like a King.

Grant Monday has arrived in February — the absolute opposite of January. Every citizen is a powerful body cultivator, the district's power dynamics have just shifted dramatically, and the tournament that grants access to Lady February only accepts finalists. Grant is a decade behind. People are doing anything they can to get an edge. He is happy to introduce them to his blade.
