As the trial concludes, survivors find themselves on the precipice of the Endless Planes: a vast realm where magic thrives and ancient forces shape destiny. Among them is Kaito Bao, once a loving father and husband who has lost everything. Driven by grief and an unending desire to punish the monsters that took his family, he has accumulated powerful abilities, Feats, and Titles. His climb begins at Serpent's Way — the bottommost world of the Endless Planes.

After triumphing over Tyrox, the one-eyed plane guardian of Serpent's Way, Kaito Bao ascends to the next tier of planes. With three possible realms to choose from, he must decide how difficult he wants his future to be. As he navigates a new series of interconnected planes, clandestine forces work behind the scenes to upend the balance of the entire tier. Through it all, he must master and evolve his abilities while hunting down new Feats and Titles to grow his strength.

Fresh from stopping an abyss beast invasion, Kaito finds himself in a new series of worlds centered on Nexus Reach — a place of floating islands and rigid structure. His hard-won strength no longer affords the same advantages. People here match or exceed his Feats and Titles, and a bottleneck bars his path: until he meets the Lady's requirements, he cannot evolve his Class.
