Upon reaching the age of nine, dozens of children across the Growing World regain the memories of their previous lives on Earth and must come to terms with their new situations. Doro, discovering that his new world's access to magic has stunted the development of empirical science, sets out to quietly spark an industrial revolution — recruiting older crafters and researchers while letting others take the credit.
