Fear of death never stopped Aaron from doing something dangerous. Now actual death can't either. Aaron was always a daredevil — motorcycles, cave diving, bungee jumping, skydiving. When his entire universe gets pulled into a System-managed multiverse, he happens to be skydiving, so instead of a peaceful introduction he goes splat and instantly dies. A goddess takes pity and resurrects him, but the only place she can send him is the Shadow Trials — a special dimension designed for the prodigies of each new universe. Stuck in the Shadow Trials starting from level 1, Aaron has one saving grace: he revives every time he dies. And he's going to abuse that as much as he can.

Fear of death never stopped Aaron from doing something dangerous. Now actual death can't either. When his universe gets pulled into a System-managed multiverse, Aaron happens to be skydiving — so instead of a peaceful introduction he goes splat and instantly dies. A goddess resurrects him, but the only place she can send him is the Shadow Trials: a special dimension designed for each new universe's prodigies. Stuck starting from level 1, Aaron has one saving grace: he revives every time he dies. He's going to abuse that as much as he can to grow strong.

The Shadow Trials continue, but Aaron is no longer alone. With Mo'han and Talia and more new arrivals every day, the pressure is on to push further and faster — and Aaron isn't about to be left behind. The pressure multiplies when his patron goddess Yendal sets him a task: defeat Mo'han Khan, the new universe's greatest prodigy. It's no small challenge, but Aaron was never one to back down — even if it's definitely going to kill him. Repeatedly.

The Shadow Trials are over, but the new world is only just getting started. The entire world has been shuffled and combined with two others, and Aaron is dropped into a brand-new monster-filled jungle with nothing but a compass pointing to Talia. He must not only survive but help others do the same — all within three months, because at the end of those three months, the Grand Dungeon will open, and the gods won't let their sponsees miss it.
