The Wraith's Haunt

Dark forces have extended Edward Wright an offer of incredible power at a terrible cost — and Edward has chosen to make them regret it. Swept into the world of Ivalis as a Dungeon Lord, the Dark's most powerful servant, he has no servitude in mind. Through only his wits and guts, he must rise to power if he is to survive. But in the battle between Dark and Light, where both sides are cruel and uncaring, perhaps one man can forge his own path.

Only weeks have passed since the Battle of Burrova, and Edward and his friends are busy improving the Haunt and protecting surviving villagers. But time is scarce. Ed soon finds himself in conflict against the man behind a mindbrood attack — someone seemingly capable of shrugging off mortal wounds who is ready to unleash a devastating plague of undead. Only the otherworldly powers of a Dungeon Lord may be enough to protect the Haunt, but can Edward remain the same man if he exposes himself to their corrupting influence?

The Heroes of the Militant Church, led by Inquisitor Gallio, scour the forest in search of the Haunt. Ed desperately attempts to uncover the secret behind the Heroes' origin while ancient traditions return and abominable creatures long thought forgotten stir in their tombs. Both the Dark and the Light loom hungrily over the Haunt. If pushed, Dungeon Lord Edward Wright will fight against them all.

War is coming to Starevos, delivered by the navy of the Kingdom of Heiliges. Edward's only hope is an ancient Factory whose defenses are as deadly as those seeking to conquer it — and he is not the only Dungeon Lord who wants it. To save the Haunt, Ed must face war-forged Dungeon Lords older and crueler than himself. Dark forces converge, and Ed may be forced to become as terrible as his enemies just to outlive them.

After barely surviving the Endeavor of the Factory of Nightmares, Dungeon Lord Edward Wright is banished back to Earth — stranded in a world without magic while his dungeon in Ivalis sits vulnerable. On Earth, the ancient Silver Knights have returned to vanquish another Dungeon Lord. Back in Ivalis, his friends face the wrath of the Inquisition and rival Dungeon Lords. War brews on the horizon, and if Ed wants to protect those dear to him, he will have to seize a crown for himself.
