The Rise of Resurgence

Alex Stanton was living every gamer's dream — he was getting paid to play. AltCon, the largest retailer of online gaming, was beta testing the latest generation of virtual reality with never-before-seen graphical detail and a fully functional whole-body immersion system. Beta testers join for one reason: to experience new content first. Alex, along with group mates Dan, Jason, and Wayne, will experience every nuance the game has to offer. But odd things start happening from the outset — things Alex can't explain. In time, even the littlest things pile up, and Alex is forced to ask himself: what's really going on in Resurgence?

Alex knows that Resurgence is more than just a game — that others have likely died so that it could be released to the public. The truth weighs heavily upon him, though the mystery of AltCon's true endgame is the real cause of his frustrations. While secretly working to discover the reality behind Resurgence, Alex is not as alone in his quest as he believes. While Alex pushes the boundaries inside the game, a cadre of special agents works on the outside to uncover any advantage against AltCon.
