Alex and Enea face a serious test if they want to keep their unique citadel built by the lost civilization of the Founder Gods. Abounding with mystery and powerful artifacts, its dungeons are a maze swarming with creatures of Inferno. Alex's rash decision risks triggering the first clan war in the Crystal Sphere. Alex and Enea return to the Crystal Sphere to find that a catastrophe has struck in their absence. Virtual reality is now controlled by the Reapers — hybrid identities evolved from high-level NPCs who kill human players to harvest their neurograms. No one is safe. A Reaper army is about to invade the Agrion cluster, and Rion Castle has become the players' last outpost. The struggle is too unequal — and survival grows more difficult with every passing day.
