Oric Rune is a Player Killer with nothing left to lose, driven by a singular need to avenge the villagers of Ducat — slaughtered before his eyes by the Drachma Killers. But with the Rune Lands encroaching on Unigaea's southern cities and something catastrophic brewing in the sky, Oric must choose between personal vengeance and becoming the hero destiny demands. Joining him on the journey are a giant Tagvornin wolf, a mute Solar Mage, and a cunning illusionist named Sam Raid.

Player Killer Oric Rune has nothing left to lose and one goal: avenge the villagers of Ducat, butchered before his eyes by the Drachma Killers. But with the Rune Lands threatening Unigaea's southern cities and something catastrophic brewing overhead, Oric must choose between personal vengeance and the role of hero. At his side: a giant Tagvornin wolf, a mute Solar Mage, and a cunning illusionist named Sam Raid.

Oric Rune, Sam Raid, and Wolf head north — until an ambush forces Oric to confront the fragility of his digital existence and those closest to him. With the Red Plague spreading and Unigaea growing increasingly hostile, he must decide: pursue those who betrayed him, continue hunting the Drachma Killers, or ride north to address the plague. New allies join the quest — a mysterious figure called Deathdale, a scholarly giant named Lothar, and a powerful Hourglass Mage whose control over game-time may be the key to saving Unigaea.

Following a devastating personal loss, Oric Rune reaches the city of Tael to reunite with Lothar and Sam Raid. Battered but not broken, the group sets off for Tagvornin to confront the Red Plague at its source. Time is running out as the plague spreads. This is Oric's moment to make his mark on Unigaea — if it's even possible.
