The Great Core's Paradox

Paradox is a tiny snake with great potential — the sole creation of the Great Core, tucked away in a corner of the World Dungeon. Together they hid from the bad-things and the Coreless of the world outside. Until the Coreless found them and tried to steal his creator. With no other option, Paradox swallowed the Great Core that made him. Only then did he begin to become what he was always meant to be. The Endless Cycle began — and with it, the story of a little snake zealot and his journey to greatness.

A new legend has begun to spread among the Coreless, but there is more work to be done. Paradox, satisfied with his proselytizing in the city of Orken, is ready to move on — and his first disciples have a destination in mind. Greener pastures await in Verdant Grove, but the city has suffered a calamitous collapse. Its Nature Core now runs rampant, the mutated plantlife driven by three guiding thoughts: kill, spread, devour. The few Coreless who remain have found something worse than death. But Paradox doesn't care about their suffering — because the danger here is caused by a Core, and for one created by the Greatest of Cores, proving another Core to be lesser is the most satisfying work imaginable.
