There are only about thirty people in the world with golden blood — and for the protagonist, it is both a curse and the only thing offering any chance at a better life. Coerced into a single-option deal by men from the Special Services Department, he is thrust into a dangerous world far from the drudgery he'd always known. With his special inheritance and his faithful helper Alisa, he must survive what comes next — whether he's ready or not.

There are only about thirty people in the world with golden blood — and for the protagonist, it is both a curse and the only thing offering any chance at a better life. Coerced into a single-option deal by men from the Special Services Department, he is thrust into a dangerous world far from the drudgery he'd always known. With his special inheritance and his faithful helper Alisa, he must survive what comes next.

His arrival in the capital ends with him accused of murdering the little Prince and taken into custody. Now he faces life in exile on Freedom Island — a prison island where the worst criminals in the Empire end up, from which only three people have ever managed to escape. He didn't kill the Prince. But there's no avoiding exile. The only option: survive at any cost and find a way out.

He woke up alone, adrift in the ocean, with Freedom Island still smoldering behind him. He doesn't know whether any of his comrades survived or what forces have been tasked with finding him. The only option is to keep moving forward, into the unknown.

Death is already approaching — the virus had him on the ropes even before a bone dagger in his side sped the process along. The betrayal of a team member and the Feathered Serpent's attack should have been the final events of his life. But his father's arrival has given him hope. Will he recover? Will he ever make it to the Japanese Islands? He's going to do everything he possibly can.

The Treasury of Amaterasu was inaccessible even to the Goddess's own descendants — but it opened for him. What will he find inside? Did Amaterasu leave something there as a sign from their past — a message, a warning, the truth, or perhaps an artifact?

July 10th: the date planned for the executions of both Katherine and his child. He has only 22 days to do something about it. He is going to become more powerful, save his family, kill the man who dares to threaten his loved ones, and put an end to the Mad Emperor's reign.

What happened to Earth? How did the ghouls originate? Where did chakra come from? These questions must be answered before the coming battle with the Goddess — a battle that will decide not only his own fate, but that of all his loved ones and humanity itself.
