The Dungeon of Stories

Will is the newest dungeon born into the world — and he is a rank higher than any that preceded him. The Voidbringers, who caused the magical disaster that spawned him, have returned — and they can corrupt dungeons. Will is one of their targets. With the aid of his dungeon fairy Amber and an adventuring party led by Gar Adamant, displaced prince of the kingdom the Voidbringers destroyed, Will must grow his dungeon as fast as possible, build up a nearby town, and fend off enemies on every side.

The Voidbringer Core has been destroyed, but Will and Gar know the threat has not ended — and now Erianna has gone missing. Will seeks to absorb the dead Core's power, expand to find nearby cores, and undergo the trial to discover his third magic. Gar must level up and navigate the politics of family, neighbors, and new relationships, all while searching for Erianna before something terrible befalls her. The Voidbringer corruption has spread deep, and any dungeon core lost will become a nightmarish threat.

House Dapplelight has fallen — but now the entire Kingdom of Eladrin, twenty times the size of what came before, may march against Will and Gar. And further enemies stir in the dark. Will must build his dungeon and monsters to meet threats that dwarf anything he has faced, while keeping his fairies and dungeon friends safe. Gar must forge the smaller peoples of the region and rebellious portions of Eladrin into a new Kingdom of Daruk powerful enough to resist its much larger neighbor.

Will has defended himself and his allies from the latest Voidbringer ploy and gained time to grow — more floors, more monsters, better loot. But he cannot figure out how to reach his enemies to finish them, and they are already preparing their next blow. Gar and his team must navigate complicated internal politics while preparing for further war. Will has reached Level Twenty, and now must brave a difficult soul quest to obtain Meta magic — the power to bend the very rules of magic and potentially solve everyone's problems. But first he has to survive it.
