Drew Liam is a thousand-year-old cultivator who just wanted to ascend and leave his planet behind — but after the powers-that-be tried to kill him and he was smacked into a completely different dimension, he woke up in a primitive medieval world with no qi to speak of. Now he's teaching a baby rabbit to kick things with qi, kidnapping clueless kids to educate them in the supernatural arts, and trying to figure out why a deer is fighting a feathery squirrel. Drew must rebuild his power and navigate a planet he may have accidentally set on a path to catastrophe.

Drew Liam is a cultivator about to ascend when the powers-that-be send everyone they have to kill him. He survives, ascends — and promptly gets smacked into a completely different dimension. He wakes up in a primitive medieval world smelling terrible, watching a deer fight a feathery squirrel. With no qi in this world and civilization nowhere near the level needed for ascension, Drew starts teaching children the arts of cultivation while trying to figure out where he ended up — and why.

The thousand-year-old cultivator Drew — who prefers to call himself Teach — is happily sailing along. He's gathered a bunny, some kids, and almost a dragon to his cause, and his private pocket dimension Tree is growing nicely. Then the Tower sends a distress signal, hours after a certain female dragon's singing conjures a massive mana storm. Teach is forced to deal with it, all while wondering whether his students are finally going to stab him in the back.

Now that Drew has stepped into the Foundation Realm, new challenges await. His school is growing — but his old mistakes are coming back to haunt him. Monsters are appearing everywhere, seemingly steered by some nefarious higher power. And his students have turned from eager learners into lazy good-for-nothings under his influence. The entire planet is being pushed toward a savage and unforgiving path, and it might be his fault.

After teleporting his students across the world to stave off the apocalypse, Drew is busy slaughtering powerful beasts and saving civilization — all while his dragon mistress waves him off as he gets swallowed by a massive sandworm. When he finds an impossible object — a hyperdense projectile like one that nearly killed him during his breakthrough — Drew sets out to unravel the mystery, forced at last to confront his past.

With his students scattered across the planet, Drew finally has time to tend to his pocket dimension. His first order of business: get all the dragons drunk and kidnap them into a boot camp. His students, meanwhile, continue their duties — ruling as queens, leading with iron fists, and being loved by all. The mysterious super-heavy objects keep turning up, and there is the small problem of a mind-controlling moon. And his draconic lover is in danger — again.
