The Code of Survival

Lee and Jak's world changes forever when a System message appears at noon: Earth has been integrated into the Multiverse. A status screen, health points, and then — the monsters. The duo must get stronger, learn how the system works by capitalizing on their rare classes and skills, save their town of Gilbert, and then find a way without technology to travel to Albuquerque to rescue Lee's daughter and Jak's sister Marie.

While Lee and Jak head to Albuquerque, Marie and her boyfriend Erik face the system apocalypse on their own. Follow their adventures as they make new friends, fight intense battles, and struggle to survive.

A new announcement reaches the world: the Multiversal Championships, a competition offering prizes for participants who reach level 25. The Balder family must compete to earn prizes — and to keep their world from being overrun. As Lee works to manage his town of Balderville and Sami reunites with her family in Gilbert, both groups receive the same call to compete. Who will be their competition, and how will they overcome the challenges that face them?

The Championships continue. The Balder family has excelled so far, but unexpected visitors, intrigue, and betrayal threaten their progress as they struggle to complete the three remaining trials and win. When they return, can they then unite the world?
