The Butcher of Gadobhra

When Ozzy signs a five-year contract to work as an NPC serf in Gadobhra — a new fantasy world intended as a playground for the incredibly wealthy — he was just after a paycheck. He's given boring choices: work as a blacksmith, barkeep, or shepherd for all those years. Or he can find ways to take advantage of the System. He can break out, carve out a section of the world for himself as an adventurer, compete to be the first to locate hidden dungeons, kill the biggest monsters, and gain renown across Gadobhra. Yeah, that sounds like way more fun.

They were told to stay out of the ten-day war, but their side lost in the first hour. Their future is at stake, so now the Butcher and the other workers have to win a war without anyone knowing they are fighting. Luckily, they have Fearless Leader on their side to carry out a campaign of terror and sabotage. Twenty-five workers with no weapons or magic versus two-hundred and fifty regular players. The other side is in for a big surprise.

Old Joe had hinted about the strange place called the Great Sea of Smoke, but Ozzy hadn't imagined he'd take a one-way trip there and be trapped in the elemental planes between Fire and Sky. He'll have to fight his way home with a fellow castaway named Woodrat and their ramshackle raft — the Smoke is a harsh place where only the strong survive. Ozzy and Woodrat might only be starving castaways now, but someone needs a couple of legendary captains for an impossible mission. The Butcher will be carving a path of destruction across the seas, leading to a confrontation that will shake even the gods of this place.
