The Boneless Dungeon

Breck died and was reborn as a dungeon core — unable to create bones, the building block of most living creatures. All he wants is his humanity back, and he'll kill every adventurer who dares plunder his depths to gain the essence required to transcend. Zach, a new adventurer, is sent to find the source of a mysterious cosmic energy linked to dungeon cores. But guild members are hunting him, and his path is about to collide with Breck's.

After months trapped as a dungeon core, Breck is desperate to communicate with fellow Earthling Zach and will stop at nothing to advance up the essence ranks to make contact. His increasingly dangerous experiments exact a heavy toll. Zach, recovered from his injuries, finds himself thrust into leading the town he's been helping build while juggling his growing party, his responsibilities, and his goal of returning home. Together, the two must work with newfound allies to stop a new enemy on the horizon.

Breck the dungeon core has been captured by a group calling themselves The Scorpion, and the god of living death essence now holds him in his grip. Back in the dungeon, Breck's remaining mobs and bosses struggle to keep things from falling apart in his absence. Zach is rallying allies to form an alliance against the rising dark forces, even as more gods are reborn and two massive armies prepare to clash. The fate of two worlds hangs in the balance.
