The Bard from Barliona

A professional rock musician enters the virtual MMO Barliona in search of inspiration, choosing to play as a biota bard — a brand new race of humanoid flora. Whatever adventures await her in this old world with new heroes, they promise to be fun.

Every player in Barliona has heard of the Gray Lands — the land of the dead. Few have traveled there; fewer still have spoken with the heroes and villains of old. Only one bard has ever managed to bring the souls of the dead back to the living world: the Bard of Shadow. Now it is up to her to determine the future of her race. Shall the Biota become full-fledged members of Barliona — or will they oppose all that lives?
