Orodan was an orphaned street rat who clawed his way to the county militia through hard work. When calamitous events unfold, Orodan's battle-loving disposition leads to a warrior's death — then he wakes up again at the start of the Cataclysm. Then again. And again. In a world of skills, titles, and blessings, a smart time-looper would scheme and plan. But not Orodan. When surrounded by hostile gods and world-ending monstrosities, his answer remains the same: run his head into the wall over and over, until either the wall breaks or he does. By now, his head has grown quite resilient.

Having awakened a ground-breaking Celestial-rarity skill at the climax of his fight against the Eldritch Avatar, Orodan's problems have suddenly grown bigger. Otherworldly attention. Champions of various worlds come seeking to capture him for their own factions. Worst of all, his tendency toward directly telling everyone about the time loops draws a dangerous sort of attention — that of those related to it. Facing extra-planar pursuit from the start of every loop, Orodan must not only rapidly improve against lopsided odds but also avoid the possibility of a true death. With a cosmic chase comes the opportunity for cosmic answers — and if he works hard enough and dies enough times, he may finally learn who put him in this time loop in the first place.

System shattered, the previous loop ended without closure, friends and allies lost. Orodan is back to square one — except without the Status screen and skill levels that govern all life within the System. As he soon learns, his skills haven't really been affected; only the numbers are gone. He can still fight, he can still grind, and with the time loops unaffected, he can still die and repeat. Systemless and bereft of aid, Orodan must rebuild himself from the ground up. True mastery lies not in skill levels, but in actual skill.
