This is a story that spanned eons. Through a series of misfortune, Ryner became an immortal creature who has lived for hundreds of thousands of years. Despite physical and mental scars, he still fights — including against Alice, his fellow immortal and self-described insane monster, as the two wage brutal wars in the form of a death game Ryner forced her into. After his latest win, he decides to take a vacation, inserting himself into a seemingly normal world for a brief moment of peace. That peace does not last. Problems surface one after another, and Alice soon ceases to be his only or biggest concern.
