Savage Dominion

Maulkin didn't know dying would mean a new eternity of dungeon delving, monster slaying, and glory hunting. Reborn in the wild world of Amaranth, he finds himself in a hulking demi-human body with a sword of a size to match. Marked as an Eternal — a fledgling immortal of boundless potential — Maulkin soon discovers he's been given a mission by the elder pantheon: grow stronger, ascend to godhood, spread chaos in their name, and fend off an inbound apocalypse.

Maulkin and his Eternal allies are on a roll — they're growing stronger, have two of the shards needed to prevent the return of an evil god, and have a good idea where to find the rest. But Maulkin has taken a month off to spend time with his new elven girlfriend and learn how to properly swing his giant sword. His reluctance to get back out there definitely has nothing to do with the ominous Voidgod powers he's scared to tell the others about, or with Araphel's imminent return, or with having to fight a primordial dragon from the dawn of time.

Maulkin and his Eternal allies may have just caused the apocalypse, but at least they're doing it with style. The Voidgod is back, the Alvaren Queen is convinced Maulkin is the second coming of Araphel himself, and the one weapon that could stop the big bad has already been turned to dust. Maulkin — the dumbest man in the known universe — must somehow accomplish what the gods themselves haven't managed since the dawn of time and put Araphel down for good.
