But early betrayal and a close run-in with a vampire nearly ruin his attempt before it begins. Stuck at the bottom of a dungeon with no gear and no allies, Damien must embrace the undiscovered Occultist class, master control of his new demonic minions, and take the contest by storm.

Damien's streaming career is in tatters. With his playstyle now known to all and Aetherius's older brother Magnitude gaining a stranglehold on high-level content, Damien struggles to stay relevant. To fight back against Magnitude's growing power, Damien must undertake a quest far beyond his level — one that, if completed, will permanently transform his Occultist character. Meanwhile, Lillian pursues a legendary sword that may be the key to finally bringing Magnitude down.
