Revenant's Revenge

A nobleman killed a peasant without a second thought just to test a new blade. The rage of the injustice was so immense that the soul could not pass on — returning as a Revenant with a pact with a dark deity and the ability to grow powers through Discordance shards. His goal: build an Undead Kingdom and make Eris Lanyer suffer every indignity before destroying him entirely. There is just one problem — why can he only shriek and snarl when he tries to speak?

After giving Eris a first taste of terror, a peace treaty forces a twelve-year prohibition on bringing troops onto human lands. But that doesn't mean resting. Moving to Lepidonia, land of vampires and lycanthropes, the Revenant takes on contracts in exchange for Discordance Shards — and quickly discovers that some targets are far more than he bargained for.

Tricked by his own allies, slain and reborn, the Revenant must rebuild his powers from nothing. Accepting a contract that brings him to the land of the Witch Elves, he seeks game-changing artifacts — including a blade that channels Discordance directly into devastating attacks. The Cult of the Veil is growing, and godhood may be the only way to ensure survival in the long run.
