Redemption Arc

Lord Lucian Villamar left a trail of misery in his wake — the archetypal entitled rich villain of the turn-based strategy RPG War of Four, beloved by players for his brutal downfall. Now a new soul who enjoyed challenge runs has entered his body at a rather poor time: the start of the game. His relationship with his father is frayed, powerful figures want him dead or worse, and conspiracies are underway from both political factions and malevolent powers. Lucian, devoid of talent, is wholly unprepared. Maybe our protagonist can plot a route to survive this challenge run.

With a new 'ally,' Aurelia, at his side, Lucian Villamar hasn't yet gained the chance to rest. The threat of assassination by demons remains very real, and a looming trial will decide which direction the future takes. His advantage of foreknowledge is slipping as his actions butterfly the timeline further out of control.
