Humanity has been pushed to the brink of extinction by an ever-evolving demonic threat. Portals open faster than ever, Towers burst into the skies, and Dungeons are mined below the last safe havens. The demons are winning. Quest Academy trains the next generation of Heroes to hold the line. Salvatore Argento has never seen a demon and never aspired to be a Hero — but his unique power may be the one thing that tips the odds in humanity's favor.

Change is coming to Quest Academy. When the second years nearly lose their lives on a failed excursion, the first years pay the price: a radically altered curriculum with far higher stakes. Salvatore's worst nightmare is fighting demons, but staying at Quest Academy means proving he can. He must survive an entire floor of a demonic tower before the semester ends — and do it with the most dysfunctional team of misfits imaginable, outside the walls of the school. It is time to push the limits of Mythcrafting.

The first semester is ending, and it is time to take on the Tower. The excursion was a mess, and Sal's trust in his team is at rock bottom. Now he must enter the Tower and fight demons alongside the very person who betrayed him — while managing a former wonder-kid who may be a ticking time-bomb. Faced with accusations that he is squandering his power, Sal is forced to decide what kind of Hero he wants to become. With limited time to prepare, he needs all the help he can get.

The first semester is over and Sal returns home to Silver Sanctuary as the top-ranked Savior in his year, earning an exclusive invitation from the President of the Hunter Bureau to attend a prestigious Gala. At home, he discovers his parents are being cheated by one of the top Guilds. Determined to protect his family before heading back to Quest Academy, Sal embarks on his greatest crafting challenge yet — forging unlikely alliances and persuading unexpected mentors to join his cause.

Crafting the first ever Mythic-Grade piece of equipment should have made Sal a legend. Instead, it may get him killed — especially after he used the most coveted demonic material known to man to build an attack drone. Tired of hiding his abilities, Sal moves to establish his guild. He has the headquarters and the funds; he needs the right people. Meanwhile, holding his place as the top-ranked Savior demands new combat styles, new modules, and the most ambitious crafting projects he has ever attempted.

After proving themselves on the battlefield, Salvatore and the Mythic Guild have debuted as a force worth watching. Recognition brings exclusive contracts far beyond what the guild can handle alone — Sal must recruit new members, forge unlikely alliances, and navigate dangerous negotiations over how his Mythic-Grade technologies are used. The aftermath of the demonic invasion has left Haven damaged and factions mired in corruption. Whispers are spreading that the invasion was orchestrated — and the Bastion Loyalists are making their move.
