Alex Kellan has a strange problem: two men are dogging his every step on Christmas, determined to drag him into the Nexus Games — a deadly competition in a twisted dimension of high-tech weaponry and magic where each game is unique and harder than the last. They won't take no for an answer.

After two rounds in the Nexus Games, Kellan has developed strange and powerful abilities — but he needs more. Separated from half his team, he must navigate a deadly maze while escorting a kid to safety. When he learns that several teams intend to use the ultimate prize to enslave other dimensions, Kellan has no choice but to target the most dangerous players of all.

Team 101 has three keys; two other teams already have four, and if they win now it's all over. In a bizarre turn, game five will be played across three dimensions — including Kellan's home, Earth. Determined to win and protect the innocent people of Fayetteville, Kellan uses all his magical abilities to defeat monsters and murderers alike in an epic collect-a-thon that will decide the fate of every dimension.
