My Chemical Hero

Arthur is trying to survive a dreadful shift at Hammy Burger when a supervillain takes him hostage. When the caped cavalry arrives, he is accidentally exposed to ChemX — unlocking his first superpower: extreme Toughness. But the transformation is reversible. To keep his powers, Arthur must pass the Combine — the legendary trials to join Heroes United. As an unregistered vigilante with only a ski mask and an ability to absorb punishment, he takes to the streets of Eon City to level up fast.

Arthur — now known as Brick Breaker — passed the Combine and joined the Eon City Champions. Their first mission: clear out the abandoned housing projects in the Climb, and they get to keep the building as headquarters. But previous hero teams that attempted the same mission were killed or disappeared under strange circumstances. Worse, tensions within the Champions threaten to fracture the group. Arthur must take the lead, forge a cohesive team, secure a steady supply of ChemX, and uncover whoever is keeping the Climb in ruins.
