Mech Wars

Stranded in a hostile galaxy, Darkstream Security's elite troops held Eresos against the ferocious Quatro — until years of peace ended and the aliens returned with artillery no one thought they could use. Humanity's only answer: mechs. The R&D team just finished a working prototype.

Chief Roach's victory over the Quatro won't last long. Strange meteorites have fallen on Eresos containing quadruped mechs clearly designed for the enemy. Roach and Oneiri Team must escort these fearsome weapons through a harsh alien wilderness under constant attack — if the quad mechs fall into enemy hands, humanity loses the advantage granted by their own MIMAS mechs.

Chief Roach has merged with an alien mech to counter the Quatro's quadruped machines — but the weapon is like a sword with no hilt, doing everything it can to fragment his psyche. Roach must lead Oneiri Team across a war-engulfed Eresos to stop the Quatro from destroying what remains of humanity's colonies, while resisting the alien mech's promises of glory and chaos.

Darkstream has tricked the public into believing the Quatro are the enemy — but the company has already sold the Steele System's security to the true enemy: the Progenitors.
