In the original story, Violet allegedly bullied the sweet heroine Cecily Rousseau out of jealousy over her connection with Prince Andrei — who also happened to be Violet's fiancé — destroying her reputation and forcing her from school in disgrace. That's exactly the moment Mira arrives and inherits the entire mess: patchwork memories, a ruined reputation her host may not have deserved, an ex-fiancé who hates her, a mysterious illness no one knew about until it killed her host, and a love rival who turns out to be her secret long-lost sister. Fortunately, Mira has plenty of experience surviving in trope universes. Unfortunately, the third installment of the game wasn't released before she died, so she has no idea what the endgame holds.
