Land of the Elementals

Life is cruel — Arbor learns this the hard way when everything he loves is taken from him in a single night. Left alive by the men who butchered his family, he has two options: give up and perish, or rise up and fight to take back the life he's lost. To do that, he must leave behind the only home he's ever known and venture into a world far more dangerous than he could have imagined — filled with magic, monsters, and mythic beasts powerful enough to destroy entire nations.

Now a member of the Nobility, Arbor heads to his manor to begin life as a Viscount. The fate of his sister plagues his every waking moment. When a nearby village head pleads for his aid against a dangerous monster, Arbor jumps at the opportunity — not knowing he is walking directly into a trap set by beings hellbent on his destruction.

Returning from his training with Gold in the strange world of Somerset, Arbor is immediately forced into another battle against multiple enemies. Reports of disturbing activity from the Goldenleaf Forest bring dire warnings of a threat Laedrin will not be able to handle. The hardest choice comes when Arbor must decide between rescuing his sister from herself and keeping the peace in his own lands.
