When she awoke to find Valerius, leader of the legendary Gilded Knights, towering over her, she thought she'd gone mad. She was the Fury — armies trembled at her name. Now she lay chained and broken, a prisoner in her own home. Only yesterday, she had a different life: a nephew at the arcade, an uncle's booming laugh, and a gun that changed everything. Trapped in the body of the murderous Zara the Fury, our hero may not know her real name, but she knows how to play a game — or so she thought. The world of Knights of Eternity is no simple dungeon-crawler: the tyrannical god Calamity treats the world as his chess board, a knight faces a chance to change his fate, and cryptic quests promise overwhelming power. But the real Zara the Fury wants her body back, and she'll do whatever it takes to get it.

The world is ending. The heroes lie dead, and only a villain, a mage, and a knight stand in the way of total destruction. Zara the Fury, Lazander, Eternity, and the girl with the forgotten name — scattered across the world — must come together for the final battle. But as the end draws close, can they save it, or will they be the ones to end it?
