The Realmbreaker Wars unleashed a thousand world-ending Calamities. One such Calamity decided to become an academy teacher. Ryland is one of the oldest living apocalypses the war produced. Experimenting with dangerous rift magic shattered his body and scattered its pieces across the cosmos — pieces that, when left alone, often turn into new Calamities. Armed with a thousand spell glyphs from a thousand worlds, Ryland sets out to stop more of his blood droplets from becoming mad demigods. To do so he must return to his academy, recover his old research, and teach a few oddball students along the way — all while passing an entrance trial gone haywire, fending off Fate itself, and keeping Calamity-worshipping cults from ruining his club activities.
