When a terrible accident catapults best friends Daniel and Orrin into an RPG-like world, Daniel is classified as a Hero while Orrin is relegated to the fantasy equivalent of dead weight. In a realm populated with lethal, inescapable foes, sticking together matters more than ever. Soon Orrin discovers he has powers no one has encountered before — and finds himself growing far beyond his role as sidekick into something that surprises even him.

When a terrible accident catapults best friends Daniel and Orrin into an RPG-like world, Daniel becomes a natural-born hero while Orrin is relegated to the fantasy equivalent of nothing. But in a realm of lethal foes both inhuman and inescapable, sticking together matters more than ever — and Orrin may find the confidence and power to become something other than a sidekick.

When Daniel and Orrin are offered the chance to explore a newly revealed dungeon near an elven realm under attack, they can hardly refuse — the adventure would bring them closer to the war and the power they need. Though he's not typical warrior material, Orrin brings his own growing magical skills to the quest. Skills, he learns, that shouldn't even exist.

Orrin's growing powers have landed him in the hands of Odrana's ruler and her scheming mother Anabella, who sees him as a political pawn. To earn his freedom, he must infiltrate an elite magical academy, befriend influential students, and help maneuver Anabella back into power — all while hoping Daniel can find him before the intrigue turns lethal.

Orrin has grown from mild-mannered sidekick into a genuine powerhouse with Administrator-level abilities unlike anything else. But his problems multiply: a psychotic witch walks free, politics in Dey spiral out of control, the Hospital drags him into its internal strife, and Daniel teeters on the edge of becoming an uncontrollable killing machine. Worse still, the Demon Lord is massing his Dark Horde at the gates — and a mystery Orrin has stumbled upon could have far-reaching consequences.

Orrin and Daniel have done the impossible: gathered a fellowship, earned powerful abilities, united the realms, and taken down the Demon Lord. Their quest is complete — or so they think. Winning a war doesn't mean instant peace, and the various kingdoms are still maneuvering for power. Worse, dungeons across the land are being destroyed by an unknown force, and without them, Orrin and Daniel may never find the power they need to get home.
