Guardian of Aster Fall

Across the world of Aster Fall, unique classes exist that cannot be trained through normal means — they require accomplishments that simply don't exist yet. Sam Hastern's family has been cursed by one of these for fifty years: the Battlefield Reclaimer, never leveled by anyone, condemning them to poverty. Then a dungeon exploration leaves Sam looking distinctly non-human, and his already-difficult path grows far stranger.

Enchantments, runes, and ancient power will determine whether Sam Hastern survives his new life. He and his father have fought their way out of the Abyssinian Plains and returned home stronger, but Aster Fall is never peaceful for long. Sam's journey takes him to the distant city of Highfold, where ancient ruins are coming to life beneath the triple moons, promising either a route to power or an untimely grave.

The Moonlight Relic sits high atop the Western Reaches — an ancient fortress designed to stabilize the dimensions and defend those who lived there. Shattered in a cataclysmic war, it now sits broken. Sam has inherited the only key to it on all of Aster Fall. He must repair it before the Outsiders who destroyed it return, all while keeping Highfold safe as threats rise on every side.

Astral threads cut across the world, drawing Sam to them — his new race is intrinsically tied to the Void and the stars. Meanwhile, flaws are appearing more rapidly than ever across Aster Fall as the dimension trembles, and dangerous artifacts hint at a troubling connection to Outsiders. Sam splits his efforts between repairing the Moonlight Relic and traveling to gather key materials, but his heart is drawn to the stars.

Forced into a difficult choice, Sam steps onto the Path of Stars — an ancient trail through the galaxy that leads to the history of the Astral Titans. Hundreds or thousands of years may pass before he can see his family again, though time on Aster Fall moves more slowly due to the Nexus. With each step, secrets old and new unfurl, hinting at the heritage of the World Forger and the grandeur of a race unseen for over a million years.

Ancient gates are opening and the Dimensional Convergence begins — Grand Flaws tear apart the Western Reaches as demonic horrors trapped since the First War pour through. With the Path of Stars complete and the full inheritance of the Astral Titans in his blood, Sam rushes home. The Boundless Alliance, the Cabal, and Outsider outposts across the world are all in motion — and only Sam may be able to protect his family and find Asenya the World Forger, the only one who can repair the World Core.

In the Void beyond Aster Fall, Sam stands watch at the fortress of Silverguard, protecting the world from an ancient enemy. Dimensional cracks are spreading through the World Seal, and demonic armies flood through with increasing frequency, including old enemies from the First War. Sam plans to send his avatars into the unstable dimensions to find Asenya, the Seal's creator — the only one who can repair it before it shatters completely.

Sam's strength as an Astral Titan is greater than anything seen on Aster Fall since the First War shattered the world. He commands three armies and the fortress of Silverguard stands firm in the Void — but enemies surround him on every side. The Avatar of Blood holds Asenya in his grasp inside the World Seal, an enemy whose strength equals the Titans of old. To overcome him, Sam must finish his rise to power and take up the mantle the Titans once held.

Sam is the only Astral Titan left in the Void they once ruled. Aster Fall is safe, and it's time to find his sister an academy on a central world — somewhere she can grow up with all the advantages a Titan can give her. What better way than to attend as a guest professor himself? He might even open an enchanting shop like he always wanted. He's climbed to the height of power, but the Sixth Evolution and the mysteries the Titans left behind still lie ahead.
