Gamified

Felix thinks he is losing his mind when game-like quest notifications appear on his phone. Then things get stranger when he realizes he can actually level up in real life. After gaining the rare Beastmaster class and bonding with a particularly bloodthirsty housecat, Felix must defeat his high school nemesis — who may now be a seven-foot Ogre — before zombies and monster squirrels tear his world apart.

When the game reappears after weeks of silence, Felix can't ignore a quest tied to his father's whereabouts. A class field trip to Cityburg leads him straight into a PvP battleground for which he and his friends are severely underleveled. Feral pigeons and slime monsters are the least of his worries. Other players are in the game, the rules have changed, and even the NPCs are now in danger. A Beastmaster, a Necromancer, and an ex-cheerleader Barbarian are going to have to save the world again.
