Ethria

Offered a choice between a dangerous route home and a safer path through Ethria, Daniel "Rayid" Tear chooses Ethria — a world that works like the video games he loves, where power takes many forms and whose true purpose is unknown even to most of its inhabitants. Rayid decides to help a persecuted people whose story echoes his pioneer ancestors. But in a time when gods are changing and nations are fracturing, an ancient evil stirs at the base of the Sawtooth Mountains.

Having defeated the necromancer of the Dow'Del ruins, Rayid travels south to rescue Pina, the Druid of Barisel and the love of his friend Tol'geth. Along the way: remnants of lost civilizations, creatures from the under-dark, and a growing human-supremacist movement in the Kingdom of Tor. Deep in the Great Cathedral and the heart of Sowers Vale, corruption spreads like plague — and the Great Valley's minions have their eyes fixed on the city.

Betrayed by the sorcerer Jekkel after his victory, Rayid and Count Winslow seek justice and vengeance in equal measure — determined to root out corruption within the Great Cathedral and Sowers Vale. But the Dark Valley's plans are already in motion. War comes to the small northern duchy on two fronts. Rayid needs allies, fast, as powers long thought dead on Ethria begin to flex their will once more.
