Elf Empire

Leo wanted to make something of himself — specifically, to build dams. But when he and two others get dragged through a portal to another world, he quickly decides this place is for him. Everyone has magic, and a fallen kingdom desperately needs someone willing to fight and build. With a not-quite-a-princess elf and a crippled dragon at his side, Leo must race to build his empire before the loan shark Kruegar can finish him off with a legion of orcs.

Leo barely defeated the invading orc armies. Now a new threat appears: the Red Plague, an infection that drives the afflicted to serve a mysterious entity called the Blood Court. The plague is spreading from Stonehaven, the ancestral seat of the dwarves who were once Leo's allies. Desperate to break the barrier sealing Stonehaven, Leo must seek magical allies, find a cure for the plague, and destroy the Blood Court — all while trying to expand his empire.

Leo is finally ready to rescue Audrey from the heart of his first enemy's territory. But House Orsini and Kruegar's orc legions are prepared to finish him off once and for all. Meanwhile, a new portal has opened — to Ice Pines, a dimension of cold and storms. And a looming deadline: the tyrant King Damian has sworn to kill elf refugees unless Leo delivers a ruinous sum within ninety days. Leo must save Audrey, stop Mavis, and pay the ransom before time runs out.
