Robotics scientist Regan Earle inadvertently started a global robot uprising in 2150. Decades later, his last creation finally ended his life — only for a cosmic force to offer him a second chance in another world. He wakes as a dungeon core, with all his memories intact, in a world called Murgin. The world of Murgin has no idea what's about to be built.

As Robia Valley recovers from the necromancer attack, Regan and Louella work to increase their strength against coming challenges. Adventurers travel from far and wide, drawn by rumors of the dungeon in the valley.

Regan pushes to deal with the necromancer threat at its source in the north. A growing monster horde charges the valley, targeting Steel Spire, one of his sub-cores. Meanwhile, Louella marshals the adventurers in the valley to meet the horde on the battlefield, pushing her own power to its limit to defend her new home.

With the horde dealt with, Regan turns his attention north. His growing influence draws more eyes than he'd like, as powers across the continent react to this new force emerging on the map. Louella wants a few moments of peace to process the changes happening to her and the valley. Nobody will grant her that peace — Robia Valley has become the center of the continent, drawing adventurers from every corner.

Regan turns his full attention north to finally confront Undead Queen Alara. Magic, technology, and intelligence are all put to the test. Louella continues to grow her town, but a threat unlike anything before attacks her home. And Izora, recalled to Jade Wind, finds that all is not as it seems.

The demons from the world of Deorus have finally arrived — and Regan underestimated what they'd bring. Meanwhile, a new threat stirs that he can't quite get a grip on.
