Cooking with Disaster

In a post-apocalyptic world where food and water are poison, Eli 'Nacho' Naches has survived as a fearsome assassin — until he is sent to the chopping block. Instead of dying, he wakes in his younger body with all his memories intact. Nacho has no interest in saving the world. He just needs to save the people who matter to him. But getting his college-age friends to plan their builds and bunker down turns out to be an epic quest all on its own.

Nacho had no plans to lead a guild — but by succeeding so much, so fast, humanity has unlocked the next stage of the Juxtaposition years ahead of schedule. A Legendary weapon is up for grabs, and the first guild to claim it will control Kansas City. All Nacho needs to do is find a path to something he has never heard of, locate something that shouldn't exist, and keep his people alive.

Nacho and the Chips Guild are expanding rapidly, reclaiming land and growing their city — until the CruxTerrans launch a surprise attack, seizing several of Nacho's closest friends and using them to unlock a hidden portal that will determine the fate of both Earth and CruxTerra. As Nacho begins to find peace in his new life, he and his adversaries are thrust into a daunting challenge that will test their abilities and willpower alike.
