While driving a busload of cheerleaders home after a football game, the ground opens up and swallows them whole. The driver wakes on an alien planet, with a disembodied Voice issuing a quest to save the cheerleaders — goblins, orcs, and football zombies included. The Voice grants the cheerleaders different classes: Huntress, Enchantress, Fire Weaver. Surrounded by capable women vying for the only man around, the group must fight to survive and find their way back to Earth.

While driving a busload of cheerleaders home after a football game, the ground opens up and swallows them whole. The driver wakes on an alien planet with a disembodied Voice issuing a quest to save the cheerleaders — goblins, orcs, and football zombies included. The Voice grants the women different classes. Surrounded by capable women vying for the only man around, the group fights to survive and find their way back to Earth.

With the group settled into Moondale, the Quest Board demands they rescue former villagers from a well-defended orc outpost. Keeping the girls safe means everyone needs to rank up quickly. But greater evils than murderous orcs lurk in the Eros Woods, and the dangers inside the walls — three wives feeling ignored — may be more frightening than any army.

New challenges arrive in rapid succession: recovering Londyn from the mystical realm of Interlude where fey magic heals her, at a steep price only the fey can name. Then an urgent quest leads the group into a sentient, blood-hungry dungeon. Beyond that, a Caduceus quest requires locating a powerful staff's missing half — all while a massive goblin, orc, and giant army lays siege to Moondale, and a traitor may lurk within.

Captured by Lilith, Queen of the Succubi, the protagonist wakes in captivity while monsters pour through The Veil toward Moondale and the ancient evil known as the Blight spreads its poison with Moondale in its path. As the will of the Voice nears fulfillment, a glimmer of hope emerges: there may be a way home. The concluding volume of the Cheer Girls series.
