Blood for Power

Lucas wakes up to find the world has ended. The System has transformed his apartment building into a 100-floor dungeon tower, and the residents have one year to reach the ground floor before it self-destructs. Lucas slept through the class selection — so the System chose for him. He's a Blood Reaver, a class fueled by the blood of slaughtered enemies. Outraged, he vows to grow stronger and carve a bloody path to the pinnacle of power.

False pirates are hunting him. Gods want to enslave him. A terrorist just wants to watch it all burn. After training off-planet with a deceptive god, Lucas returns to find the Tower transformed into a series of islands amid a vast ocean. Elemental storms, bio-engineered monsters, and deep-sea creatures roam freely. An open competition called the Golden Door Quest promises a true escape — but gods and other forces scheme in the shadows for control.

In a false city built on lies, the factions prepare for war. Orcs awaken primeval curses. Cultists collect on ancient debts. Goblins fuel their war rigs. After the Golden Door incident, Lucas and Hugo have never been in more danger — their allies gone, the gods wanting them dead, and their new patron causing more problems than he solves. They descend into the Strand, a gothic city on the brink of tearing itself apart, where a rogue necromancer plots revenge in the shadows. Secrets get buried for a reason, and no one will be prepared for the consequences.
