Ilea likes punching things. And eating. Unfortunately, there aren't many career options for hungry brawlers — the plan was to quit her crappy fast-food job, go to college, and become a functioning member of society. So maybe it's lucky that she wakes up one day in a strange world where fantasy monsters are trying to kill her. On the bright side, "killing those monsters right back" is now a viable career path, because her new home runs on game-like rules that will allow her to punch things harder than she'd imagined. With no quest to follow, no guide to show her the way, and no desire to be a Hero, Ilea embarks on a journey to discover a world full of magic — except when she's poisoned or has set herself on fire. It's complicated.

Still haunted by her encounter with the Taleen Praetorians, Ilea makes her way south to join the Shadow's Hand and hone her skills. Having fought alongside members of the infamous mercenary order, she hopes to meet kindred spirits who share her passion for battle, adrenaline, and near-death experiences. The guild of high-level warriors seems like the perfect place to grow and recuperate — to take a breath after non-stop elven attacks, dungeons, necromancers, and Taleen murder machines. But even this training will not prepare Ilea and her new team for the fresh dangers already beginning to stir throughout Elos. After all, there's always another Drake.

In the aftermath of the demon invasion, Ilea makes her way to Riverwatch to find a home for a wayward mind weaver — ensuring he doesn't eat anyone along the way. After traveling, reuniting with old friends, and some light punching, her life seems to be returning to normal. But dire news awaits her return to Ravenhall. A friend is in danger, and there is work to be done. The trail leads Ilea to the Empire and beyond — dark alleys, ancient dungeons, desolate lands beyond the frontiers of humanity, and the ruins of a long-forgotten Kingdom. Old allies fight at her side and new ones emerge as she faces both beast and man on a long journey that may end somewhere surprising.

After months in the barren and deadly North, Ilea returns to Ravenhall to rest, check in on old friends, and train her resistances. Her homecoming includes a visit to Riverwatch where she encounters new allies — and old enemies. But her blood-soaked reunions are cut short when she is summoned back to Hallowfort to help deal with a sinister corruption spilling out from the first layer of the Descent. Searching for a lost expedition, Ilea explores an ancient dungeon host to long-forgotten secrets, pushed to her limit against dangers that no one in their right mind would dare face.

After her near-fatal journey into the Descent, Ilea returns south to check on allies and lay groundwork for unlocking her elusive third Class. By day she teaches the first generation of Medic Sentinels — battle-healers of their newly founded organization. By night she applies the same principles to herself, exploring dangerous dungeons and exposing herself to all manner of magics and traps. It is a good routine — as long as she has mana to heal, the numbers go up. But all good grinding sessions must end, and an invitation from a powerful order soon pulls her back into the conflicts of humanity and beyond, flying into a kingdom on the losing side of a war where things are not quite as they seem.

Ilea survived the eclipse on Erendar, and she didn't return alone. With the Meadow settling in Hallowfort and her third class finally unlocked, she sets out to find new ways to test and improve her powers. After a series of duels, a rotten forgotten tomb, battle-testing her Sentinel students, and herding a literal bunch of cats, Ilea decides to get back to her roots: the green-eyed Taleen machines. This time, alongside her elven companions, she dives deeper into the steel-lined realm of the Taleen than ever before. The monstrous dwarven machines and the elves that hunt them are the perfect sparring partners as she pushes toward level 500 and her next class evolutions — along with secrets hidden underground by an ancient civilisation.
