A mysterious storm strands Jack Sawyer and a group of women on a chain of strange islands filled with creatures intent on killing them. Using whatever the islands provide, Jack builds the tools needed to survive, fight back, and search for a way home — all while discovering there are more survivors still out there.

Jack and the group can't rest — more friends are still out there somewhere. Their journey to new islands brings new challenges and fresh dangers, and with each discovery they learn more about what came before them and what may be coming for them. Something out there is always watching.
