Accidental Champion

Cari Dix didn't know her whole life was a lie. Growing up with the most ordinary parents ever, all she wanted was adventure and a little fun. When she discovers an old computer from her father's past, Cari stumbles into a fantasy game world she'd always thought part of her childhood imagination. Taking her combat fencing skills with her, she sets out to explore a world her parents said didn't exist. Cari fights to save the last of the Empire's heirs and carries on the legend her father left behind.

Cari Dix is tired of playing by the rules. She returns to the high seas and her raider ship, the Vengeance — then discovers a secret that could change the world and once again save the heir to the Crystal Throne. Her parents, Hal and Mona, follow behind, trying to catch up to their daughter lost in the game of Fantasma.

Despite the best efforts of her enemies, Cari Dix is alive and ready to come out of hiding and bring the missing heir back to the imperial capital. A group of swashbuckling rogues must travel across an entire continent, brave undermountain tunnels, fairy tale witches, and an entire army on the hunt for them. The fate of the Empire of Fantasma hangs in the balance.
