A Student Wants to Live

A college student witnesses the descent of Earth into hell firsthand. A dark object has arrived and transformed half the planet into zombies — creatures that grow stronger with every human they kill. Alongside them roam mutants and bizarre monsters of enormous strength. Levels, abilities, and unknown objects have changed the world. The only chance of survival is to fight. By killing zombies, mutants, and monsters, humanity can grow stronger too. Andrej Primus intends to become the strongest of all.

Andrej Primus, leader of the Architects Clan, has succeeded in leaving Novosibirsk, where zombies and mutants grow stronger every day. The goal: to found their own city. But many other groups of survivors want the best locations for themselves. The Architects have fought zombies, mutants, and monsters. Now the question looms — must they raise their weapons against other humans as well?

Andrew First, Leader of the Architects Clan and the City of Sangis, faces a million-strong horde of zombies bearing down on his lands. No clan on Earth has faced such a threat before, and few believe the Architects have a chance. But Andrew refuses to give up — the Architects will face the horde and defend their city.

While Andrew was away, things at home developed at a rapid pace. Zombies have founded a city directly adjacent to his own, and nearby human settlements are uniting and sharpening their knives. Within the Architects Clan itself, traitors weave webs of intrigue, and an unstoppable zombie horde advances from China. These are only some of the problems waiting for Andrew when he returns home.

Together with his friends, he has built a place of safety in the post-apocalyptic world, fending off zombies, monsters, and hostile factions alike. But the Dark Sphere has not left them in peace — it has announced a Level Run, an event that will test everything Andrew and his people have built.

Thirty-six hours remain until the end of the Level Run. Only the top three finalists will have the chance to meet with the Dark Sphere and request its help. Andrew is sitting in fifth place — and he must reach the top three. Because that is the only way he will be able to save Anya.
